He Still Prays for You
“Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.”
Hebrews 7:25 · NKJV
Stop on that phrase: He always lives to make intercession. This is happening now. While you read this, Jesus is interceding for you. Your standing does not rest only on something He did in the past. It rests on something He is doing in this moment.
And notice the reach: saved to the uttermost. Not partway. Not on probation. To the uttermost, completely, all the way through, because the One praying for you never stops and never fails. Your salvation is held up by His unbroken intercession, not your inconsistent devotion.
So when you feel like your prayers are weak, remember whose prayers actually hold you. His. He is at the Father’s right hand, advocating for you, and He always lives to do it. The case could not be in better hands.
Your standing rests on His prayers, not yours. He always lives to intercede for you. You are held.
