Grace Appeared

“For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men.”

Titus 2:11 · NKJV

The grace of God that brings salvation has appeared. Appeared, like a sunrise. Grace is not an abstract concept theologians invented. It showed up in history, wearing skin, in a manger, on a cross, out of a tomb. Grace has a face, and it is Jesus.

And notice what grace does: it brings salvation. Not the offer of a plan you complete. Salvation itself, carried to all people by the One who accomplished it. Grace does not point at the rescue. Grace is the rescue arriving.

The next verse says this grace teaches us. Not the law. Grace. What condemnation could never produce, kindness does. The grace that saved you is the same grace that grows you, and it has already appeared. You are not waiting for it. You are living in it.

Grace appeared in a Person, and it brought salvation with it. You live under grace’s teaching now, not the law’s threat.
