“As His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue.”

His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness. Given. Past tense, all things. Not a starter pack with the upgrades sold separately. Everything required for the life God calls you to was handed over when you received Christ.
That means the Christian life is not an acquisition project. It is a discovery project. You are not begging God for missing pieces. You are learning, through the knowledge of Him, what is already in your hands because you are in His.
So the question is never whether God has supplied enough. It is whether we know what has been supplied. Get to know the One who called you by glory and virtue. Everything you need came wrapped in Him.
You are not missing anything required for life and godliness. It was all given in Christ. Live from supply, not scarcity.
