Loved As the Son

“As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love.”

John 15:9 · NKJV

How does the Father love the Son? Completely, eternally, with total delight. Jesus reaches for that, the highest love in existence, and says: that is how I have loved you. As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you.

Then comes the invitation: abide in My love. Abide means stay, make your home there. It is not a command to earn the love or keep it topped up. You cannot abide in something that is not already yours. He is asking you to live inside a love that is finished and full.

Most of us drift out of that house, not by sinning too much but by forgetting where we live. Come back inside. The love has not moved.

You live inside a love as full as the Father's love for the Son. Stay home today.
