God Is Faithful

“God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.”

1 Corinthians 1:9 · NKJV

The Corinthians were a mess, and Paul knew it before he wrote a word about their problems. Yet his opening confidence is not in them: God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

That sentence carries your whole future. You were called by God, into fellowship with His Son, and the guarantee underneath it all is His faithfulness, not yours. Covenant was never designed to rest on the weaker partner.

Fellowship means shared life. You have been placed into the company of Jesus Himself, and the One who placed you there keeps you there. Faithful is not just what God does. It is who He is.

You were called into the fellowship of Jesus, and God's own faithfulness holds you there.
