The Way You Started

“As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him,”

Colossians 2:6 · NKJV

Paul compresses the whole Christian life into one sentence, and its hinge is the word so. The way in is the way on.

How did you receive Christ? Empty-handed. By trust, not by qualifying. Nobody crosses the threshold of grace on the strength of a resume. So walk in Him the same way: trusting, receiving, drawing life from Him rather than proving life to Him.

Religion always tries to switch the fuel somewhere past the front door. Saved by grace, sustained by effort. Paul closes that door. Grace is not the entry fee. It is the road.

You began by receiving, and you continue by receiving. Grace is the road, not just the door.
